Show Support for Ovarian Cancer Research Fund and Project

The Genetic Cancer Research Fund, what is it all about?

There is no need to suffer the physical, emotional, and psychological pains caused by breast and ovarian cancer. With the proper information and support, anyone can be helped through the ovarian cancer research fund supported by the Genetic Cancer Research Fund. Because of one woman’s wish for increased awareness on this kind of illness, the Genetic Cancer Research Fund has been set up. Allison Feinberg, a 45-year old victim of ovarian cancer, wished for a way to spread and increase awareness towards genetic cancer that this foundation has been established in her memory. Genetic Cancer Research Fund is a non-profit organization in New York whose goal is to seek for ways to fund research activities that will help find more advanced answers in battling hereditary cancer. In this way, we can be your credible source of invaluable information about cancer risk, prevention, and care. The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund is one of GCRF’s fundraising events that show support to cancer studies.

How it all Started

We want to improve the lives of those who are affected by hereditary cancer by looking for ways to minimize, and perhaps prevent or fight the effects of this affliction. We envision to provide the kind of information and support that families will find valuable in their fight against ovarian and breast cancer. We want to be able to give a reason for victims and families alike that there is hope to this kind of sickness. Our organization is dedicated to funding cancer research, cancer treatment and education programs, research and patient-care facilities, and to ensuring excellence in these endeavors through the development and prudent stewardship of private resources. Through activities like the ovarian cancer research fund, we hope to contribute in finding the cure for cancer. We want to help relieve suffering and to improve the quality of life for cancer patients, survivors and their families until this very complex disease is wiped from the memory of mankind.
